Our Mission
At The Best Little Dog House in Texas, our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and enriching environment tailored to small dogs.
We treat every dog as a member of our family, focusing on socialization, play, comfort, and individualized care. We want every pet parent to feel confident that their little one is receiving genuine attention and respect. Through compassionate care, attentive supervision, and real relationships with the families we serve, we strive to deliver the most trusted daycare, boarding, training, and grooming experience for small dogs in Montrose and across Houston.
Our Values
- Small dogs are our entire world. We’re built exclusively for dogs 35 pounds and under, so every pup plays and rests alongside others close to their size — never lost in the shuffle with bigger dogs.
- Cage-free boarding . Our home-style, cage-free setup means comfy beds and real group play instead of kennels. We think dogs are happier with room to move and friends to move with.
- Every guest is an individual. Whether your pup is a go-getter or a little shy, every dog gets care shaped around who they are — from our daycare floor to our grooming table.

Our Certifications
Our team is committed to the highest standards of safety, handling, and pet care. Team members are PetTech certified, demonstrating proficiency in pet first aid and emergency preparedness, and have also completed specialized training through Dog Handler Academy. This advanced education equips our staff with the knowledge and skills to provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care for every pet entrusted to us.
